The Audi SQ5 is already one of the most successful and sought-after performance SUVs in its segment, and its popularity has grown even further with the latest generation. ABT Sportsline has now gone one step further with its package, transforming the 3.0 TFSI engine into a true powerhouse with the ABT Power S performance upgrade. The specially developed engine control unit increases the power from the standard 362 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque to an impressive 434 hp and 442 lb-ft.
“The SQ5 is already an outstanding vehicle from the factory, as demonstrated by the great popularity of its predecessor and the current model. With our package, we aim to emphasise its sporty character and offer our customers enhanced driving dynamics and individuality,” says Hans-Jürgen Abt, CEO of the ABT Group.
Perfectly matched to the increased performance, the new 22-inch ABT EVO sports rims in elegant glossy black and fitted with 255/35 ZR22 tyres give the vehicle an even more imposing presence and enhanced agility when cornering. The package is also available with suspension springs with lowering by up to 1.7 inch (45 mm) for those who drive a model with steel suspension.
The increased performance is also visible on the outside: four tailpipe trims made of matt black stainless steel with an impressive diameter of 4 inch (102 mm) make a powerful statement. The ABT aerodynamics package emphasises the sporty character with a front spoiler, a rear apron insert and a rear spoiler including aerodynamic trim. These design elements clearly distinguish the ABT SQ5 from the standard model, giving it a unique look that highlights its motorsport heritage.
ABT has also left its mark on the interior with exclusive ABT floor mats and high-quality ABT door sill lighting, creating a harmonious overall picture and providing a driving experience that combines emotion and seriousness perfectly.
